Our IT Information Security Department is currently seeking an IT Security Analyst to govern many of the security enabling solutions, controls, and processes making up our corporate defense in depth posture. Security analysts play a part to varying degrees in security incident response, emergency response, disaster recovery, compliance and business continuity domains.
Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $132,501 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:
• provide security testing and guidance for the safeguarding of our company's most valuable assets
• collaborate with other internal and external partner organizations on target access and operational issues, including blue team.
• conduct and/or support authorized penetration testing on enterprise network assets. Communicate new developments, breakthroughs, challenges and lessons learned to leadership, and internal and external customers.
• collaborate with developers, conveying target and technical knowledge in tool requirements submissions, to enhance tool development.
• maintain awareness of advancements in hardware and software technologies (e.g., attend training or conferences, reading) and their potential implications.
• monitor target networks to provide indications and warning of target communications changes or processing failures.
• prefer candidates with demonstrated program management experience in NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Be equipped with:
• ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
• ability to identify/describe techniques/methods for conducting technical exploitation of the target.
• information security experience specializing in penetration testing and adversarial simulation methodologies, risk management, and security monitoring.
• skill in interpreting compiled and interpretive programming languages.
• skill in recognizing and interpreting malicious network activity in traffic.
• experience with endpoint security, firewall governance, internet gateways, content filtering encryption and data loss prevention.
• experience with the following technologies: host- or network-based Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) systems and other network devices, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Identity/Authentication platforms, developing or analyzing scripting code.
• working knowledge of information systems security methodologies and practices such as least privilege access control, system hardening, system audit and log files monitoring, security policies and incident handling.
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work. Bring education or experience from:
• bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• technical and operational proficiency with a wide array of architecture, computer hardware, operating systems and software
• CISSP and/or OSCP equivalent certifications desirable or willingness to complete. Enhance your talents
